Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Grosse Pointe Woods

Food was absolutely amazing. Our server was wonderful and everyone made us feel so welcome. A++

The outdoor igloo was absolutely worth experiencing! The food was good, my only complaint is that some of the utensils were not fully cleaned. The waitress was great and gave us clean ones. Other then that it was great over all.

We had an awesome experience here for our annual Christmas Eve/Birthday dinner with our family. The restaurant and surrounding area was decorated beautifully, it is so nice to see Detroit aglow again. Our server; Donovan; was very attentive in spite of having several tables; he anticipated our every need and helped to make the evening very enjoyable. Every entree was presented beautifully; complements to the chefs; it made for a very memorable experience and we will definitely be back. The food was excellent overall; the only complaint was that the Chicken Milano was a little dry; two of us had it and it was the same for both; maybe add a little more of the wonderful sauce that came with it. One minor complaint; as mentioned the ambience was awesome at this restaurant but the lights seemed to "strobe" with the light music playing in the background. Four people in our party would be considered senior citizens and we all noticed the lights flickering to the beat of the music; this may not even be noticeable to younger people though. Overall though we all recommend this restaurant to anyone; the owners obviously care a great deal and have created a perfect dining experience.

Great service and ambiance! Food was delicious! Ordered one of the daily specials and it didn’t disappoint. Compliments to the chef! Live music was entertaining and the atmosphere was pleasant.

The Bronze Door has become our go to restaurant for a great meal in a quiet atmosphere with very capable and pleasant service.
