- AAnnettevipNew York City •52 reviews4.0Dined todayMy friend and I meet here twice a year to celebrate our birthdays as it's equidistant from our homes west and east of there. The clam chowder with mushrooms was delicious, as was the Parisian salad - both of which I ordered. My friend ordered the vegetable soup terrine and a hamburger with fries. The only complaint was the burger was not medium rare as she had ordered it, but medium. She only ate 1/2 of it. The french fries here are out of this world delicious. We only enjoyed coffee as our dessert, which was very good. Service was excellent, just enough attention paid to us, and food arrived quickly.More infoThe LakehousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Bay Shore•4.7

- KKimvipNew York City •78 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024Dimon Estate is a really lovely place! It has old world charm and a big bonus is that the tables are nicely spaced so you don't feel cramped as one can in many other restaurants. The menu is seasonal although favorites from the previous season were updated to reflect Autumn availability. There are many options to enjoy. We had the eggplant parmigiana (with added shrimp) and shrimp scampi. Of note, the scampi was more of a shrimp marinara over pasta but it was delicious in any event. The service was quite good. Were love bread and wish that they provided some although the portions were ample so we didn't really need it! We will definitely be going back.More infoThe Dimon EstatePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Riverhead•4.4
