- JJessicavipHouston •13 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoLeo’s River Oaks offers an upscale dining experience with a stunning ambiance that immediately sets the tone for a special evening. The service was attentive and professional, enhancing the overall experience. We began with the bread and butter service, followed by scallops, a few items from the raw bar, and a Caesar salad. The salad was a standout, perfectly balanced and delicious. For our main courses, we shared the ribeye and filet mignon. Both steaks were cooked to perfection, but they leaned slightly on the salty side, which detracted from their otherwise excellent preparation. The sides, however, were exceptional—the Brussels sprouts and potatoes dauphinoise were flavorful and elevated the meal. Leo’s extensive wine selection is impressive, particularly their offerings of Cabernet by the glass, which paired beautifully with the meal. Cocktails were prepared perfectly, as well. While we had high expectations for Leo’s, the overall experience was still good. The restaurant delivers in many areas, but with a few adjustments, it has the potential to exceed expectations.More infoLeo's River OaksPrice: Very Expensive• American• River Oaks•4.7
- MMarvavipHouston •55 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA neighborhood gem. My 2nd, my husband's 1st visit. It was lunch on a Tuesday. It was busy. Our waiter, Megan, was very nice and attentive. She made great recommendations. The devil eggs and crab dip appetizers were both on point. My husband had spaghetti. He loved it! I had the lobster roll. It was ok. The serving size was good, but it could use a bit more flavor, so I added some of the crab dip to it. Michael, the GM, was nice as well. Love the weekday happy hour. I'll certainly be back to experience more menu items.More infoRelish Restaurant and BarPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• River Oaks•4.8
