- SSamanthaAtlantic Canada •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoOur first time eating at Drift was beyond our expectations. We were greeted extremely kindly and professionally (the host noted the occasion provided in our booking after politely asking how we were) and we were seated at an intimate table. There were not many other diners (less than 50% full) and the ambiance was quiet and very relaxing. Beautiful design and decor. The food was outstanding (hushpuppies, scotch egg, prime rib, and ravioli duo), and the cocktails were very tasty. Best of all, our server Angie was extremely courteous, doting and warm (she also commented kindly on the occasion). She answered my questions thoroughly. The staff are clearly very highly trained and the service level was the best we've had in over a decade of dining in Halifax. Thank you Angie!More infoDriftPrice: Expensive• Canadian• Halifax•4.7
- PPatrickAtlantic Canada •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoOverall, it was a great experience. Arrived at 430, I didn't realize the restaurant wasn't open. They said they were not ready, obviously, so I went for a walk. As well walked past the restaurant, the lovely host came out and grabbed us to enjoy a cocktail inside. Cocktails were lovely, all the staff were lovely. Peter? Our server was fantastic, and the host, I can not remember his name, would be my first hire to host any of the restaurants I run. Everything was high-end, rich and elegant and not an ounce of stuffy, snobbish feeling - which I hate about most fine restaurants... great job, folks! No glass was ever empty. The food was superbly fresh and fast! For only being open 2 weeks, everything was perfect. I can't wait to see what this small, elegant little restaurant has in store.More infoTributePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Halifax•5

- CCharlesBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024The ambiance and food quality is high-end, but the $20ish seafood plates are filling enough to be a full meal. This place is both a great date spot and a great value.More infoAgricola Street BrasseriePrice: Moderate• French• Halifax•4.6
