Best Contemporary French Restaurants in Wychwood

We were 20 minutes early for our reservation and they were super cool about it. Wonderful service throughout the evening. Best dirty martini that I’ve had in forever. Started with the cheese and bread/olives- both good. I had the Ricotta Agnolotti which was delicious and daughter had Spaghetti which was good but not to her taste. Husband had the “shareable” lemon pepper hen which he ate by himself. Had the Broccolini which I thought was great but was surprisingly spicy for rest of family. Split the Brown Butter Tart for dessert which they gave us on the house “because my daughter was so polite” (a fact she talked about all the way back to hotel). By far best meal we had while in Toronto.

Always such a pleasure to dine at our favourite neighbourhood bistro. Mark, Gerry, and Peter look after us amazingly well, and the dishes are superb. We especially love the Salmon and the Escargots.

This quaint little restaurant is one that should not be missed. Our server daniel made amazing recommendations from the sourdough bread with the chicken liver mousse and heirloom carrots were outstanding. For our mains we shared the seafood rice, the duck confit which were all melt in your mouth. And for dessert, we had the flakiest apple tarte tatin. Parquet is a must, we will definitely be going back.

Auberge du Pommier has always been our “TO GO” place for French cuisine fine dining and celebrations since 2002! They are the best of the best⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Eating here is always great. The specials make the experience even better. Each time I’ve been here, one of us always chooses the specials for each pris fixe option and it never disappoints. I still dream about the pork Wellington from the summer.
