The music was too much and it felt a little overwhelming to have an intimate dinner. However, the food and service were absolutely impeccable. First of all, I am gluten and dairy intolerant. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful as I navigated the menu. We ordered the gluten free bread service which was so delicious. Then, the martini salad, which the server split for us, hubby's had cheese, mine without. Hubby ordered Lasagna. He said it may have been the best Lasagna he had ever eaten. I ordered the chicken picatta with a side of gluten free pasta with arrabiatta sauce. Let me tell you, these two dishes were absolutely to die for. Their gluten free pasta is some sort of magic. It is tender and so close to normal pasta you'll think they're lying! We finished with the gluten free pistachio cake and the creme Brule for hubby. Both were extremely good. Overall, this is one of the best dining experiences I've had with my dietary restrictions. Definitely recommend.More infoMartini Modern ItalianPrice: Expensive• Italian• Short North - Arena District•4.7

Found this restaurant on Open Table. We arrived early intended to have a few cocktails at their bar. The place was packed to the extent they had given reservations at their bar which is pretty small. They got us a seat at the bar and we had a couple drinks as planned before our table was ready. Once seated server was very prompt our food came out fast and was very good. I was surprised they didn’t have a traditional Christmas Eve Italian menu but they made me spaghetti agli olio off the menu and it was very good Great value for the night. I would return again and recommend it to others.More infoTrattoria RomaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Grandview Heights•4.6
