Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Osprey

First time here. No expectations, other than the positive reviews. Cozy family atmosphere. Prompt greeting @ front door. We were 30min early for our dinner reservation and planned to take advantage of the advertised happy hour. I was VERY disappointed no wine discounts offered during happy hour. I was told the happy hour is all vodka drinks. I don’t drink vodka so I had water. Bartender was our waitstaff. Her support staff was very attentive. She however did not check on us once our meals were served. I wanted a glass of wine with my meal. One of our party had to get up and ask for more water, our glasses were empty and a glass of wine for me. Our food was delicious. Very nicely prepared and fresh. Dessert was divine. We will return.

It is just a fantastic place. We celebrated my mom’s birthday last night and everything was amazing. They always go above and beyond for their customers and their food is simply delicious. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

As always, La Dolce Vita serves fresh, authentic and delicious Italian food. From the moment you walk through the door until the time you leave you will not be disappointed. Tina‘s limoncello is the best we have ever had.

First time here. Great food. Good service. It is an Italian restaurant but it isn’t the “same average Italain food” they have interesting and unique dishes. The salad is small. It is a small appetizer. The ravioli dishes come with 5 big raviolis. Generous gnocchi dish. The duck over risotto was a very good size. Cocktail was made nicely. It took while to order. Drink order. Brought the wine. Waitress made the cocktails and delivered them. Then, brought the bread. Then, went away and came back and told us the specials. Then, came back to take out orders. But this is my only compliant, and would not deter me from returning. Did not have dessert. The restaurant is not quiet. It on the louder side. I think it is the layout. Still a great meal and you can hear people at your table.

The food was excellent and the waiters were friendly and helpful. However, they were seriously understaffed and that caused several problems with the service. Just one of the problems was that after waiting 25-30 minutes for dessert, the waiter told us he had forgotten it. And it was difficult to get anyone’s attention.
