Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Bountiful

We went the day after Valentines The restaurant was decorated from the minute we pulled up. Everything inside was amazing. You definitely knew it was the day of love. I had the gnocchi which was delicious. They were like little pillows in a yummy tomato sauce with sausage. My husband has the pork chops which he devoured as well. Our waiter was super nice and attentive given the fact the place was packed. Definitely going back.

We love coming to Matteo’s. We were finally able to visit their new location in downtown Salt Lake City and it is beautiful. It’s bigger than their first location but still has all the charm and familiarity. I am really touched by their ability to make you feel like a special guest. I love seeing familiar faces and the fact that they remember you is really heart warming and something a lot of restaurants don’t prioritize as part of the dining experience. The food was outstanding, as usual. We love getting the steak special whenever it is available. It really is one of the best steaks in Utah (and I’ve been to just about every steakhouse here). Of course though, the pasta is always delicious and their desserts are usually something I never pass on.

A gem in Sandy! If you’re looking for an upscale, yet casual feel dinner with family or friends with a relaxing ambiance and delicious food, look no further! This is definitely going to a return spot for me. Staff was all friendly and so helpful making our night feel special.

Once again the food here was amazing. Service was excellent with Josh as our server who provided timely service. 3 girlfriends and I each ordered something different and were very happy with our food. The only thing that I wish they would change is having more alcoholic beverages options. They have their custom cocktails, but I would like something different.

One of my favorite lunch places to avoid downtown madness yet still have superb meal. Pasta dishes are always extremely well done
