Best Cuban Restaurants in Surfside

What a great time in Miami. I love this restaurant. We sat outside and the ambiance is adorable. It has lite lights all around you and heaters to keep you warm in tbe January night. We had the grillable fish, ceviche, A Cuban and a steak sandwich with cilantro sauce. It was all excellent. It Was happy hour so we had some nice Mojitos and wine at a really reasonable price. I also like waking the small pedestrian only Esperanza Way which Havana 1957 sit right in entrance. That in itself adds to the ambience of this place we did valet parking, but I would recommend taking Uber. There parking is difficult and the valet could be expensive. We will go back for sure!

I thought the food could be more flavorful on some dishes (the criolla sauce) The Cuban sandwich that people ordered was very good. Service was very good as was the live music! Nice touch

We got a table by the water, and it was at sunset. The swanky houses across the water, the boats drifting by, and the colors in the sky were beautiful. We started with the croquetas, which were very good. I had Bernie's Old fashioned, which was tasty, and my partner was happy with her wine choice. I got the churrasco steak, and it was cooked perfectly with an excellent chimichurri sauce. The fries were good. My partner had the salmon, and she was very happy with the portion, preparation, and the sides. It was a lovely meal, and the service was very good.

We had an amazing experience at Havana 1957. Our server was attentive and gave us some great recommendations. We shared the sampler tower and had cocktails, which was plenty of food for us. The only downside was I requested to be seated on the terrace, and we ended up on the sidewalk, which is not my favorite place to dine. But the service made up for it.

Always a fabulous time at Havana 1957. It is a little pricey, but it is a STAPLE. I make sure to go to Havana EVERY TIME I am in Miami. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. Add it to your itinerary; you won’t be disappointed!
