Best English Restaurants in Leigh-On-Sea

A fabulous Afternoon Tea as usual. Absolute attention to detail with decor and food to match. I have visited many times and is Highy recommended. West End style and experience in our doorstep. Therefore cost is balanced.

I felt very attended to, the food was beautiful & the whole thing felt very ......elegant & enjoyable.

Four of us had a wonderful and delicious meal at The Fighting Cocks pub in beautiful surroundings. Whereas everything was perfect, good food, good service all at reasonable prices from the seniors menu it was a bit cold in the conservatory resulting in two of our party keeping their coats on. Only to be expected I suppose in the middle of winter but a heater or two wouldn't have gone amiss. Will definitely go again in the summer.

great spot for a nice breakfast. food was gorgeous, well cooked. staff were attentive and very helpful we were even served by a work experience girl who i felt was professional enough to be working there the acoustics of the room aren't great but ask for a quiet table and you will be fine. would definitely return

Definitely worth a visit. The food, service and ambiance were all great and good value. Landlady was a scream!
