After its purchase and renovation, the Yates family took over the kitchen and opened the pub's small, but proud, restaurant, Bowleys. Booked a table here for a pre-Christmas lunch and catch up with friends and I must say it turned out to be a very pleasant couple of hours. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was hot, tasty and plentiful and the atmosphere was very pleasant too. We all said that we would certainly visit again if we were in the area. Recommended!
