FICK Brewing Company is a local neighbourhood brewery with an indoor bar and a covered outdoor beer garden. The owners are Luxembourgish and Australian so the food is representative of that with the European-style street food such as hand-cut, double-cooked chips with Dutch Mayo, Tarte Flambees (French-style pizzas), Belgian Mussels and chips (Moules Frites), Currywurst (chopped Bratwurst with curry ketchup on chips), Farinata (North Italian chickpea pancake), as well as Wagyu beef burgers. The beer styles mainly hail from Belgium, but a solid Red IPA is on offer as well as a range of other locally produced spirits from all over Australia (including Lark, Hartshorn, and Never Never). All wines are from Hentley Farms in the Barossa Valley.

We loved everything about this dining experience. The setting is a small converted timber church with a soaring ceiling, pine floor, starched white table cloths and simple bentwood chairs. Food is perfectly balanced and creative. Stand out for us was the pickled fennel fritters and the mud crab omelette. The food was quite rich, a more French style and for 2 of us we opted for 6 smaller dishes and desserts and didn’t have a main. Extremely happy with this choice. The drinks are interesting, natural, earthy choices rather than more classic wines, but were delicious.
