    We celebrated my Mothers 84th Birthday today at Bistro Menil and high tea. It was perfect as always. Alex was our attentive server and was friendly and attentive. Tea was wonderful.     We went to the Marigold club for afternoon tea and all I can say is outstanding. The first thing you see is how beautifully decorated it is and we were seated at a lovely table for two. The wait staff is very attentive. The sandwiches and scones or something I’ve never had and all were very tasty. The toffee scone is simply delicious and is followed by a dish of beautifully decorated little desserts. The tea is different from any tea I’ve ever had in Houston. We will be coming back here for other meals they do have a dinner menu, which we didn’t see but I’m sure it’s just as delicious as everything else. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
