- SSusanCalifornia Central Coast •12 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food was outstandingly fresh, high quality, and creatively prepared and served. The price fixe menu of many courses seemed to climb a bell curve, with the least interesting being the shrimp chip and dip starter ‘snack’ , climbing to a magnificent crescendo with the the scallop and mussel small plate, and an equally exquisite plate of the freshest sliced kampachi. Each plate was beautiful, graced with curated vegetables, flowers, and delicate sauces that completed, never overpowered. Our only complaint: we found the dessert disappointing in flavor, appearance and texture: a choux pastry ball with a heavy dull filling, sitting on top of a scatter of what resembled stale cocoa puff cereal pieces. I would have traded it for the rich creamy mascapone ice cream served earlier, sans the caviar topping. The service was outstanding: gracious, helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and well orchestrated. Overall we had a fabulous dining experience, exceeding our highest expectations. In most every way, including price, dining here is a special occasion; we could not understand how or why most diners we observed were wearing gym clothes, T-shirts and jeans, sneakers, fuzzy slippers. What’s next: dining in our underwear? How about a dress code?!More infoHeritagePrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Long Beach•4.7
- AAlanLos Angeles •157 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAfter not going there for several years after not being pleased with our first few visits after they opened, we'd read nothing but stellar reviews, so we thought we'd give it another try. We were not disappointed The quality of the food, service and the overall place was stellar! Out waiter, Thomas (a 30-yr. Veteran of many Pasadena mainstays), could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable, efficient or charming! Food was on par with the best places around town, in terms of taste, creativity, quantity and quality! We re definitely going back, and soon!More infoThe Arbour - PasadenaPrice: Expensive• Californian• Pasadena•4.7

- CChristopherOrange County •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024I went this year to the Thanksgiving Buffet and last year. This time around they weren’t out of anything and everything tasted great. The table bread was great, the entrees and raw bar were great. And as always the desserts were wonderful. The banana foster dessert was stupendous. The only thing I was critical about was that we were on the patio outside and it was a pleasant 76 degrees but the heater was on and I was feeling it. And the front hosting area was full of 4,5,sometimes 6 workers crowding around the check in. Would maybe be better if they had that part better organized and less folks standing around, because that’s always a bad look. I will of course come here again for other events because the value is quite good, the servers are very pleasant, and the quality and selection of food is top notch.More infoTangerine RoomPrice: Moderate• Californian• Anaheim•4.4
