You will not find a better restaurant locally. Absolutely amazing! We did the chefs tasting menu and everything was perfect. They know what they are doing, it’s a passion you can tell it’s more than culinary knowledge. The service is above and beyond, they are attentive without being overwhelming! The pasta is the star here, there simply isn’t a place that you can compare it to. We waited months for our reservation and it far exceeded any expectations we had. It will Be hard for me to wait until our next reservation.

We love the Alter House! We started coming here a couple years ago, and it is now a highlight of our ski trips up to Elk. The food is delicious, and last night they had live music which was great. It was a wonderful dinner and we will be back the next time we are in Clarks Summit.

Phenomenal food, wonderful cocktails which change for the season. The daily butter they serve with the uniquely-plated table bread is outstanding.

We had the short ribs, lobster risotto and prime filet and everything was delicious. Our server was wonderful. This is a great place for special occasions.

Met up with friends for holiday cheers. The Smoked Old Fashion was devine. Our friends enjoyed various cocktails and all were met with 5-star ratings. I had the Salmon Wellington and it *very* good. I highly recommend it. The atmosphere was perfect for quiet conversation and the old stone walls created a warm, cozy aesthetic on what turned out to be a very cold day!
