- RRobertVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •14 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoLe Central is a reliable restaurant for experiencing well-prepared French bistro cooking. I had deviled eggs, the 1/2 roast chicken with fries, Brussels sprouts with bacon, and a French Martini. All the food was delicious, as was my cocktail. Our waiter was professional, charming, and funny, which added to the pleasure of my dining experience.More infoLe CentralPrice: Expensive• French• Downtown / Union Square•4.7

- DdidierVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoClearly one of the best restaurants in the Bay Area. We had the 9-course tasting menu, chef Claude’s signature. Usually for such menus there’s always one or two less interesting. Not here, no miss, everything was exquisite. Very polite and knowledgeable service staff. Quiet. Really a fantastic experience.More infoO' by Claude Le TohicPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Downtown / Union Square•4.8
- JJohnSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024Our party of four was seated in a window niche with a view of the sidewalk- perfect! Our party had two terrific specialty cocktails- a Red Swan and an Unwinding Salve, both delicious 😋. For entrees we had Parisian gnocchi in a cream sauce, mushroom tagliatelle, and the Absinthe burger with truffle cheese and fries- all were delicious. The best dessert was the Pot de Crème, a dense chocolate pudding with a dense whipped cream topping! Yummy. Our waiter was engaging and helpful in making choices. Overall, we had a fun, enjoyable, and satisfying dining experience before a concert at SFJAZZ around the corner. We’ll be returning to this French restaurant again!More infoAbsinthe Brasserie and Bar - SFPrice: Expensive• French• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.8
