- KKristineChicago / Illinois •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoEverything fine except for horrifyingly dirty glass of water delivered to table. Daughter actually drank from it before discovering how dirty glass was . So surprising and disgusting. Food was decent but not the best we’ve had at NoMi. French fries rather tasteless. Burger good. Fennel in salad was odd choice. We were hoping for a creme brûlée on dessert menu, alas, there was none.More infoNoMIPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.7
- JJenniferDetroit / Eastern Michigan •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWhat a true and absolute delight! My daughters and I loved La Grande Boucherie! It was one of the highlights of our recent Chicago visit. The food was wonderful, as were the wine selections (and mocktails!) and the beautiful holiday decor. We had oysters, the fromage board, a beautiful salmon, French Onion soup, salads and more. I had a lovely Sancerre, and we topped everything off with profiteroles. But the best part of the experience was the impeccable service. From the moment we left our coats at the front hosted stand to the last moments after dessert and a quick personal tour of the gorgeous second level, we were enchanted. A special thank you to Rachid from Paris for his terrific recommendations, allowing us to practice French and being a bright spot of our entire trip. Attentive, funny, kind! A server can make or break a restaurant experience, and in this case, the service shined bright! We would love to come back when we’re in the city again! Highly enjoyed!More infoLa Grande Boucherie - ChicagoPrice: Very Expensive• French• River North (Chicago)•4.6

We used to go to the Oak Brook location but now we finally got to visit the one in Chicago. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this was the original one. It’s a classic French bistro fare with amazing servers and food. I highly recommend the steak and frites! make sure to get your reservation early because we had to dine at 4:45 PM due to later dinner times not being availableMore infoMon Ami GabiPrice: Moderate• French• Lincoln Park•4.8
