Best French Restaurants in Cliffside Park

Over the last few years, Nice Matin has become my go to restaurant for that special dinner with my best friend. The food is always excellent, the service is attentive but not too fussy, and the atmosphere is comfortable, friendly, and relaxing.

The food was outstanding and the desserts were out of this world! Service was not rushed, which we enjoyed. One of our entrees came out the wrong temperature but they remade it without a fuss. We will definitely go back.

I couldnt have picked a better place to enjoy my first dinner of 2025. For starters, the restaurant is visually beautiful and they perfectly curated the music to create a relaxing ambience. It is clear that management has a particular attention to detail and it is something I greatly appreciate in any dining experience. I was seated upstairs near the balcony overlooking the downstairs dining area. It felt intimate but still lively. My server was Alecta and she was absolutely incredible. She made solid recommendations and checked in regularly to ensure I was enjoying my dining experience. The food was a 10/10 and came out quickly. I ordered the lobster bisque and the 12oz Australian ribeye. At no point did I have to ask for anything because the staff was so attentive. I will absolutely be returning and I 100% recommend to anyone.

Great brunch spot. The hostess was so kind and was able to get us a nice table. Food was good. Service was great. Will be back!

My husband and I had New Year's Day brunch here today. I had not dined here for 20 years as I had moved from the neighborhood. I can truthfully say that that quality has not changed since Le Monde opened in 1998. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was festive. Our waiter, Chance, was also top notch. I will be back!
