- TTroyVancouver / British Columbia •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe Five Sails has always been our favourite restaurant, so deciding to go there with my family for Christmas Tea was an easy decision. The restaurant staff were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure we were well attended to. The food was excellent and the service fantastic, meeting all of our expectations. We were seated promptly on arrival and were not rushed in any way. There was more delectable sweets than we could come close to finishing, so staff kindly boxed and bagged the treats that remained.More infoFive Sails RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• French• Downtown•4.8

The food is divine, the menu has many favourites along with new items and the service is always amazing. (Merci Alexander!) My only wish is to have vegetables served with my meal. I had the tenderloin in a gorgeous peppercorn sauce. Next time maybe I need to read the menu better to see if we should have ordered sides. It came with pommes frites but I wishes it had some vegetables. I also enjoyed the mushroom soup to start and my husband had the endive salad which looked impressive and the special Beef Wellington served with asparagus. For dessert we had profiteroles with generous chocolate sauce. 5 star experience! Merci beaucoupMore infoLe CrocodilePrice: Very Expensive• French• Downtown•4.7
- JJuneVancouver / British Columbia •10 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoWe love coming here and almost always have the lobster salad. The bread is also yummy. We shared the pumpkin soup, also delicious if not quite hot. The sparkling wine was fine, but it would be nice to have a choice, perhaps a good Prosecco. It is very French in menu and ambience, relaxing and fun even though it always seems so busy and noisy at lunch, especially at Christmas time. And we always feel well taken care of. Not sure how they do it, but here’s to coming back in 2025 for our special occasions.More infoCafé Salade de FruitsPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Fairview•4.3
- SSuzanneNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe are arrived at happy hour and it was very noisy & we were seated in a table which was between 2 noisy tables.. we were to leave & management moved us to a booth which was quieter and as it was our anniversary they brought a glass of bubbly and then happy hour was over, so the restaurant noise decreased.. we then ordered cocktails & dinner which was excellent. My advice is to go after 5:30 & miss happy hour.. a lovely French bistro!More infoTableau Bar BistroPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French• Coal Harbour•4.7
