- MDMattDLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 2, 2024My brother and I took my Dad out for a birthday lunch. We had to reschedule to meet in Reading last minute and Cote had availability. We arrived at 1.30pm and got given a choice of tables, we chose a lovely round table by the window and had such a lovely lunch. The service was immaculate, really attentive without being too much, food was delicious and delivered in good time but not too quick, and the ambiance was excellence. The maitre d’ clearly took pride in running a slick service and really couldn’t have asked for more! Fantastic, thank you.More infoCôte Brasserie - ReadingPrice: Moderate• French• Reading•4.6

- JCJamesCLondon •4 reviews4.0Dined on Jun 3, 2024A nice pub with good food. There seemed to be a lack of staff for the service so things were not top notch. The food could have been amazing but the main course was let down by slightly overcooked fish and the fish had no flavor at all which let me very disappointed. I must say the starter and dessert were fantastic and the accompaniments to the fish were really great but as the fish was meant to be the star it was a let down. They did give our two soft drinks for free but really if a restaurant is trying to be a gastro pub they need to tick all the boxes. I would go back just to see if it was an off day but I have heard similar things from other peopleMore infoThe Mutton at Hazeley HeathPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Rotherwick•4.7
