- SSSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoCame here for Christmas Eve prix fixe menu and it was very lovely. There was live music, great ambience, and delicious food! I dined with my dad and we had great service the entire night, despite hearing that the restaurant was understaffed for the holidays. Great place to spend for the holiday :)More infoGardenia Los GatosPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French• Los Gatos•4.5

The French Onion Soup was delicious, complete with a thick layer of cheese. The Chicken Tarragon entree was the best I've ever had with a Tarragon reduction that was divine. My family member ordered the Chicken Forestiere with wild mushroom cream, also delicious. Both entrees had plenty of sauce unlike some restaurants that only provide a few tablespoons, were served with green beans and scalloped potatoes, and were pleasantly filling. We didn't leave hungry. A slice of chocolate hazelnut cake with excellent flavor finished the meal.More infoLa Mere MichellePrice: Expensive• French• Saratoga•4.7

We chose to grill the meat and my biggest complaint is that it was so dark we had to use flashlights to check if the meat was done. Also longer handled spatulas would be helpful to avoid splatter burns. Wait staff and fantastic!More infoLa Fondue - SaratogaPrice: Expensive• French• Saratoga•4.5

Having said that, service was fantastic, we were stuffed at the end of the 8 courses and really marveled at the Chef’s creations. The best part though, were the cocktail drinks and the Granny Smith apple for desert. These two things were definitely worth it.More infoThe Plumed HorsePrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Saratoga•4.6
