Our group had the Charbroiled Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller Classic Benedict, Seafood Omelet, Shrimp and Grits, Antoine’s Burger, and the Baked Alaska for dessert. - LLettyNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food at Cafe Degas was really fabulous. 3 of us had the pompano special, and we all though it was outstanding. We've eaten there many times, and the food is always delicious. I called ahead to ask for a relatively quiet table, and we were kindly accommodated, with a lovely table in a corner. The restaurant is in a quaint house in a beautiful mostly residential neighborhood, so the ambiance can't be beat. I highly recommend this lovely establishment. Reservations are required, since it's always busy. You won't be sorry you planned ahead!More infoCafe DegasPrice: Expensive• French• Mid-City / City Park•4.7
- PPageVIPSouth Carolina •14 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was great, particularly the charred oysters and the flavorful soups – the turtle soup and both gumbos were exceptional. Our service was awesome, with Bree and our head server (captain) providing attentive and friendly service. The main restaurant itself is undeniably elegant, perhaps even a touch over-the-top (OCD staff and hovering), but acceptable.More infoArnaud'sPrice: Very Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.7

They said they were their signature appetizers and they did not disappoint! For our mains we got the shellfish stew, the turtle bolognese, the burger and the pan roasted chicken breast. All entree were delicious! If you’re heading to New Orleans, I highly recommend putting this restaurant on your list!More infoLa Petite GroceryPrice: Expensive• French• Garden District•4.8
- MMichaelVIPNew Orleans / Louisiana •46 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI’ve submitted several reviews, as I eat here a good bit. It’s silly excellent, still my favorite. There’s a wide variety of Gulf oysters from which to choose. The seafood gumbo is my favorite in the city, really rich & full of protein. I had the Speckled Trout Amandine, which I had not tried before, & it was quite good. In short, it’s always a great meal at Luke, & I’ll keep coming back until they give me a reason not to.More infoLukePrice: Moderate• French• Central Business District•4.6
