Best French Restaurants in Tlajomulco

The menu is limited but every dish we had was exquisite. Most of all their vast wine selection was the draw for us. And we were not disappointed.

This is like the Platonic ideal of a cafe. It's listed as French although the menu also includes dishes that are Mexican, Italian, American, or some fusion of the above (Tequila creme brulee, anyone?). But the various cuisines blend harmoniously. They make excellent salads and vegetable dishes and a pretty mean pizza, too. The menu offers a classic steak frites and a daily fish dish, house made desserts, and a wonderful array of coffee and hot drinks as well as cocktails. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating, and although the cafe overlooks a busy road, there is enough greenery to make it feel like an oasis. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Beware: the in-house bakery sells out early, and it can get noisy and crowded at peak times.
