Very good service and meal. We had the steak and ale pie which was very nice.

Overall, a good experience. Few of the tables were very loud which was distracting (not the venues fault!), starters were very average (scallop's were 'on the turn' but well presented, French toast was under seasoned and overall underwhelming as a dish) but the steaks were EXCELLENT - one ribeye and one sirloin, both cooked to perfection. Easily the best steaks we have had in the local area for a very long time. Took advantage of the 'steak Tuesday' offer and would consider coming back for the Monday Cote de Boeuf offer in future if it is the same chef as cooked our steaks, and if the chips were left in the fryer for a couple more minutes.

Fabulous evening. Great bar menu, lovely team that served us. Could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend

We very much enjoyed our meal at the Elm. Food was well cooked and we enjoyed both courses. There was a good selection of wines too.
