Best Gastro Pubs in Gurnee

This night was a special night with a fantastic band playing. We had dinner with a great table thanks to Open Table reservation. Then enjoyed the band. Food was very good. Reasonable prices. Excellent attentive wait person.

As always, Hackney’s delivers an excellent menu, great drinks, fantastic service, and beautiful Christmas decorations. I have been coming here, my whole life and I will be back. 

BOATHOUSE HAS UPPED THEIR GAME!! The Thanksgiving Buffet food has gone up a couple notches, and they have remodeled since the last time I was there. The Service was great. The turkey was moist, prime rib was tender, and the deep fried duck was out of this world. Great assortment, and the desserts were wonderful. We really had second thoughts about making reservations, as they had been slipping on past buffets. Am I GLAD we gave it one more try. Well worth the Price. Our group all agreed, GREAT EXPERIENCE

Our second time visiting, it’s such a pleasant unexpected surprise at the level of “brewery food” quality ! Had smash burgers which is a staple now everywhere but soooo good and not ur average burger by any means, as well as the crack fries that come with…. Top notch, will be back !!
