- NneilLondon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoNew pub to village. Food is proper home+ comfort food. Having a great live singer on a Saturday makes a difference and tbh, decent pubs with decent food and people are a rarity nowadaysMore infoAxe & CompassesPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Buntingford•4.6
- JJulieHertfordshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe Fox is an a la carte restaurant in the evenings. We didn’t realise and there wasn’t too much for my friend to eat. The waiting staff asked the manager if we could order off of the lunchtime menu, which she did. The food was delicious, especially the Hispi cabbage and the chocolate mousse dessert! It was busy but well staffed so service was adequate. The ambience was also lovely. Would thoroughly recommendMore infoThe Fox at WillianPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Letchworth•4.4
- SSusanLondon •2 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoThe food was delicious and well balanced. The ambience was good, helped by a large Christmas party in the adjacent room. Overall we sat for 2 hours and felt comfortable and unhurried - just what was wanted!More infoLittle RosePrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Cambridge•4.3
- GGregHertfordshire •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoOurselves and two other couples get together once a month for a meal at different restaurants and pubs. We chose the Sword in Hand as it has a good reputation for food, and isn’t far from where we live. The meal was exquisite, 4 of us having the “Christmas pie” and thoroughly enjoyed it. The other 2 had chicken schnitzel, and fish and chips, who also had no complaints. The service was impeccable, giving extra commendation to the younger staff who were very attentive, ensuring we were happy with the meals and drinks. I would definitely recommend a visit.More infoThe Sword Inn HandPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Buntingford•4.8
