On this latest visit, the food was good, but we waited nearly an hour between starter and main… service was patchy - some fantastic staff working really hard are let down by some of the service team. Still a good choice for quality food in a pub on the edge of the common.More infoThe Fox and GrapesPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Wimbledon•4.5

There were four of us and four dogs, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a walk. The food was absolutely fantastic—clearly made with care and attention to detail. It’s not every day you find a pub that excels at both great food and a friendly vibe! A special mention goes to the manager, an Irish gentleman I recognized from a visit the year before. I didn’t catch his name, but he’s absolutely first class—fantastic with both customers and his team. His leadership clearly shines through, as both the waitresses and waiters were superb, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. The staff’s friendliness extended to our furry companions too, making it a truly dog-friendly spot. If you’re in the area, whether for a walk or just a good meal, I couldn’t recommend The Blue Ball highly enough.More infoThe Blue BallPrice: Moderate• British• Tadworth•4.3
