Best Greek Restaurants in Mt. Vernon

Our server was excellent. We ordered a lot and he made sure the food came out at a relaxing but steady pace. Very attentive. The food was delicious especially the mussels, spanakopita, tasting combo and the branzino. High priced but not out of line with other fine dining- and worth it.

Delicious! Ambience was delightful, although a bit loud. That’s understandable since everyone was having such a good time! We tried lots of appetizers and they all were delicious. Main courses were so fresh. Three of us had fish and seafood that tasted like it had just been caught. Moussaka was divine and so light, yet hearty. Kids split a burger platter - two burgers with a mountain of fries and pita. Greek salad was superb. Wine selection is varied and reasonably priced. The star of the show was April, our server. Our family had a beautiful experience! Estiatorio Plaka is our new fave!

Food was incredible, staff was very sweet and accommodating, including Chef Maria. Highly recommend, would definitely dine here again.

Wow, I am so impressed with the quality of food at The Black Olive. We had a wonderful experience; the staff was friendly, and food was incredible. I cannot wait to plan my next trip back to try more selections on their menu (The Scallops on Charcoal is what I had in addition to the Baklava Ice Cream)! I cannot say enough good things about this local Baltimore staple in our city.

Took my husband out for his birthday. Lovely establishment and great service and food per usual. Our waitress Sarah was very friendly and hospitable. We will be back again soon!!
