Our server was a bit edgy (lol) but he made solid recommendations and stayed on top of our needs. The food was honest and good and the price was super reasonable for a party of 5. I didn't realize that the tip was included in the meal and I added a $100 tip - they saw my error and didn't take the big tip which I really appreciate. It’s that good. Underdog should be named the the best in Texas, the Southwest, the U.S. Underdog’s food keeps getting better and better. Underdog’s wine program is top notch. Co-owner Richard Hargreave is among the country’s best wine professionals. I’ve been around the block a few times in this department and Richard shows me something new every time I go. All I say is “hey Rich — what should I get?” Spot on. And Underdog’s service team is so sweet. Most have been there since the start — which says a lot about the place.
