The food, drink and service is only bettered when by the spectacular view over the river as the sun sets. Can’t wait to be back againMore infoSkylonPrice: Expensive• British• Waterloo•4.2

- AAngelaLondon •3 reviews4.0Dined on Mar 15, 2025Where to start. The first bottle of wine was served in a dirty glass to taste. There was something floating in it and we were told it was the glass, not the wine. Initially the bottle was not going to be replaced but we complained and eventually it was. We were paying for a full bottle of wine and expected to be served one. The food was lukewarm at best. Some dishes were served on skillets which were cold so this did not help. Skillets are meant to be hot! The first main was returned and replaced but the second not much better. The hottest dishes delivered to our table were the deserts! Service was hit and miss. The wine cooler was placed away from the table and we frequently had empty glasses. In the end we moved the wine cooler to be next to our table so we could serve ourselves. If the wine is going to be placed away from the table then the staff need to check regularly for top ups. It wasn’t even busy. Some staff were nice others seemed to have attitude. We would not return based on the experience we had.More infoBoyds Grill & Wine BarPrice: Expensive• International• Charing Cross•3.8
