Best Indian Restaurants in Christchurch

Lovely tasty well prepared food. Chicken madras had a nice kick to it. Attentive service thoughtout. Nice ambience and good value for money and a reasonably priced wine list. Restaurant was full which is always a good sign on a Saturday night. Been here several times before and always a good experience.

Gaja is a special place. I almost don't want to write a review as I imagine it might turn into one of those places you have to book months in advance as it's so lovely. I've lived in Bournemouth for more than 2 decades and it's the best meal I've had. The food was so delicious. All cooked fresh and you could taste that. They cook it to your taste so it was the prefect level of spicey for me. So many flavours. Amazing. The service is very friendly and attentive but not overly in your face, just right. The decor, the music, the atmosphere. I cannot think of one negative I loved it there. I will be going back again soon.

One of the best Indian foods we ever had in the UK. Strongly recommend anyone visiting Bournemouth or neighbouring areas.
