- LLucyLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe booked this restaurant as the first part of our Christmas day out, and the building and ambience was lovely. The inside is well decorated and has a cool vibe. The front of house was friendly. Initially our table was in a section of the restaurant that was quite cramped and our table for two was right next to a step and the waiters station. I did feel uncomfortable as I felt in the way of customers and service staff trying to get through. As our waiter came over to attend to us, I asked if it would be possible to move tables and he went straight away to enquire. This was no problem for the front of house and moved us into the main hub of the restaurant near the window. The food was good quality, good size and very tasty. I ordered the full breakfast with a side of macaroni cheese (with truffle) which was amazing. My husband ordered the burgerdict which looked nice, the only criticism was that burger was dry. Our waiter in this section let down the service overall as they were slow and not particularly friendly. We ordered hot drinks and asked for tap water which did not arrive. One point I started to cough and my husband asked the waiter for water again, and he was very slow to the point where the table next us offered us their water to relive my cough - very kin of them! Eventually at the end of our meal and after waiting a long time we received our table water and bill. This was a shame as the other staff were really helpful especially during such a busy time of year. I would go again, but the service needs to be consistent as this lets the other workers in the restaurant down.More infoRail House VictoriaPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Victoria•4.2
- DDaveLondon •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAbsolutely loved it!! Friendly service, but not overbearing, wait staff had really good knowledge of wine list and menu. Also got to hear a bit of the origin story which is always really cool. Food absolutely banging! Fish selection was really good, lamb belly, chicken skewers and pork belly were standouts! Lamb belly might be the dish of the night! Dad’s broth was a fun addition and story. Best dinner in Peckham for a while! Definitely a returning customer!More infoHausuPrice: Expensive• International• Peckham•4.7
- JJennaLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe finally got round to trying this restaurant having lived opposite for FOUR YEARS! The staff are so attentive and inviting, we were greeted with two glasses of Prosecco as we were celebrating an anniversary. We ate meatballs, fritto misto, carbonara and pizza - all very very good! The pizza in particular was lovely. A nice thin crisp base and delicious sauce. We also shared a tiramisu - oh my goodness! One of the best. It got a bit noisy but the restaurant was full, as always, and it didn’t take away from our experience. 10/10, will absolutely be coming back.More infoTaverna TrasteverePrice: Expensive• International
