Best Italian Restaurants in Foothills

This is a lovely local establishment with a lively vibe. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was delicious. My partner had a pizza which was also wonderful. Quality ingredients and friendly atmosphere.

We celebrated the oldest daughter’s birthday at Tavolino last night, and the service was absolutely phenomenal. Our server paid attention to even the littlest detail. Our drinks were constantly refilled, used plates were quickly removed from the table, and were regular checked on and asked if we needed anything else. Understandably this is an Italian restaurant, the kids and I love their warm bread with butter. Yes, butter; the more the merrier. Haha Our server brought us the second cup of butter without us asking after the first one was gone like in 5 seconds. LOL. It’s the little things that completed our wonderful dining experience. My husband and I both ordered our favorite TAJARIN AL NERO DI SEPPIA. The food was outstanding! Best of all was the magic show that our waiter gave us at the end of the dinner. It’s absolutely spectacular!!! We all loved it. Doesn’t matter where our daughter will celebrate her birthdays in the future, she will definitely remember this unforgettable birthday dinner and “entertainment” experience. Thank you, Tavolino, for making our daughter’s birthday dinner extra special, fun, and a perfect one. Ps: I’m sorry for unable to remember the names of our phenomenal waiter and sever. I’m really terrible with names. Our waiter was the gentleman who has been working at Tavolino for around 14 years.

Great atmosphere, food and service! North Italia definitely on our list of favorite places.

Our dinner at Vivace was made exceptional by Jackie B., whose warmth and expertise made us feel like cherished guests. Her thoughtful recommendations led us to outstanding dishes. The views of Tucson during sunset made it a memorable evening.

We used Open Table and made our reservation for Christmas lunch. We were pleasantly surprised as we drove to the restaurant. It was a great ambience. The food choices on the menu and the specials all sounded amazing. Made it hard to choose especially after our waitress Margarita shared her favorites. We decided we would just have bread before our meal because all the portions looked large. I had the freshest salad with honey mustard the house dressing. I ordered the Lobster Ravioli and it was perfection. Not too rich. It was well balanced lemon crème sauce with stuffed lobster ricotta pasta. My husband and our other guest both got baked Mostaccioli. They loved it and both took home leftovers. We had tiramisu and I had vanilla and chocolate gelato with chocolate and caramel syrup which our waitress made at her recommendation. Yum!! There. Was nothing I would have changed. It was such a great meal. I'm ready to go back now and highly recommend.
