We sat in the “library “ which is somewhat quieter albeit out of the mainstream and therefore service was good but not outstanding. My husband and I ordered the Dover sole. This was NOT the first time eating this fish. Ours was much different than we’ve ever had before. It was meatier and chewier than most Dover sole we’ve had, which is typically light and less dense. I was surprised by the consistency. It tasted great but just want the Dover sole we are used to?. The shrimp dish was quite good. The tiramisu delicious. We had a very nice experience.More infoVitoloPrice: Moderate• Italian• Central Beach•4.8

There are plenty of Italian restaurants in South Florida, but there are only a few that are consistently delicious.More infoSerafina by The WaterPrice: Expensive• Italian• Victoria Park•4.7

The service is outstanding and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal at Martorano’s You owe it to yourself to pay one of the locations a visit. I plan on going to the new place in Philadelphia in the near future. Yo cuz thanks for another outstanding meal.More infoCafe MartoranoPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Galt Mile•4.8
- EEveVIPFort Lauderdale •168 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoHow do you make the holidays even more celebratory—bring a group of friends to Casa D’Angelo for an elevated culinary escapade! We have been dining here for two decades and have consistently had an outstanding experience because of the stellar cuisine, authentic ingredients, and amazing staff. Michele and his team are so warm and hospitable, and Chef Angelo even paid us a visit, which was a nice surprise! Tatiana was very knowledgeable and friendly as she regaled us with the biblical specials list, each one more intriguing than the next; the fresh spinach ravioli with sage, brown butter, and pine nuts was elegant, the Dover sole kissed with a beurre blanc and toasted almonds was dreamy, and the braised short rib on homemade pappardelle was hearty and sublime! We had a table for 7, yet Tatiana served us with a graceful ease. The fresh pasta with Alba white truffle was another standout—thoughtfully prepared with its delicate earthiness, highlighting the star ingredient. The wine list is beyond generous with its global offerings, we opted for a 2016 Damiliano Barolo that was silky on the palate, an amazing accompaniment. We definitely appreciated Francisco, their knowledgeable Sommelier, who filled our glasses with a smile and even gave a tour of their labyrinth of wines! Of course, no meal would be complete without dessert-the house-favorite tiramisu, rich molten chocolate cake, and fluffy ricotta cheesecake with berries helped us end on a sweet note. Thank you to Chef Angelo, Michele, Tatiana, Francisco and the whole team for another amazing meal!More infoCasa D'Angelo - Fort LauderdalePrice: Expensive• Italian• Lake Ridge•4.8
