Best Italian Restaurants in Northwest Philly

Food was delicious as usual. Outstanding service. First time trying the Buffalo shrimp. AMAZING!

Service was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our starters (burrata and tartare) and main courses (trout special and salmon). Atmosphere was lively yet sophisticated with families, birthday parties, work get togethers, and couples. We had a fantastic dining experience, and will be back.

Excellent on a crazy busy Christmas night. Waiter was busting it. Food was outstanding. We will be back.

We love Villa Artigiano. Every meal there has been fabulous. The Bolognese is about the best we ever have had. Same for the osso buco, fish, etc. The appetizers (burrata, eggplant, caesar salad, etc.) are similarly great! The staff is always courteous, professional, and prompt. We broke with tradition last night to have Christmas Eve dinner there with eight family members. Everyone raved about the food and the service. You must try it!

Some excellent dishes served to the four of us. The portions are generous and of quality. One appetizer, the fried calamari, was neither crisp nor hot, so we hope they can bring it out of the kitchen quicker. The four main courses including the fish special demonstrated an excellent chef. All of the deserts were Diner quality and need to be reimagined. Cold crème brûlée? We will be back and hope they take the few needed steps to become a designation restaurant.
