A friend who is of Italian heritage (NYC born) recommended Little Rome to me in early 2024. Even though it is a little over 4 miles from our house of twenty years, we had never heard of it. We visited for the first time on the Friday night following Christmas in 2024. The menu is broad and we over-ordered as it was our first visit and had to sample. We shared an appetizer and a salad then both had pasta entrees. Mine was a sampler with Fettuccine Alfredo, lasagna and chicken parmesan. I would order each of those individually again. They serve a warm bread with an herbed butter as part of the meal. Our food was all fresh tasting and delicious. It is BYOB if you want wine. We took a bottle which the server promptly opened. Speaking of service, it was noticeably attentive, courteous and our server spaced out the delivery of each of our courses well. This practice/courtesy is not common in restaurants today. Small things like offering fresh grated parmesan or fresh ground black pepper are simple touches that they offer and that we appreciate. We were quite full with no room for dessert (took part of our meal home). As a gift for our first visit, our server handed us a container with some cannolis in it to enjoy later - nice touch. It has an old school, neighborhood restaurant feel which we love and which is hard to find in our area. The service was superb which we recognized and the noice level allowed for conversation. It is easy to find and there is ample parking near the front door. My wife and I had a very nice experience and will return. Looking forward to trying one of their delicious looking pizzas!

Went Xmas eve. They graciously accommodated a last minute add on to our party. It’s nice and dark but you can see- very good old- person lighting. They offer excellent food and drinks. We ordered family style. Lemon pasta, carrots, and meatballs were the best. Salmon was cooked perfectly, a simple dish. We got prompt and attentive but not overbearing service-top notch. The bartenders were incredibly efficient while we waited for our table- considering how busy they were. That all said, something about it was lacking in a special experience. Perhaps I’d try on a quieter evening when I’m better rested with a well-charged social battery.

MoMo continues to be such a neighborhood treasure. Owners that care and greet their guests, seasonal specials that complement their proven go-to dishes, a smart wine and beer list that pair so very well with the cuisine. I always enjoy visiting a locally owned restaurant where it is obvious that details matter. Michael
