Best Japanese Restaurants in Vernon Hills

My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Di Pescara. The crab cake appetizer was a bit of a disappointment, though. It tasted ok, but I was hoping it would have larger lumps or chunks of crab, since it’s called “Jumbo Lump Crab Cake”. It didn’t. My wife got the Horseradish-crusted Whitefish, and I got the Mediterranean Branzino. Both were really good, but we each liked our own dishes slightly better. Our server, Marco, was excellent. You could tell he has a lot of experience. The restaurant was pretty full (Sat night), but the noise level was not too loud at all.

The food was very good and the service was great too. Noice level a bit loud, but definitely will be back!!

This restaurant was a treat from the start to finish. The flavors were amazing! I will definitely return soon.

I haven’t been to Benihana in many years and it exceeded my expectations. The food and drinks were excellent and the table experience was enjoyable. Plus very attentive service from the bar to the wait staff to our table cook. I recommend Benihana over Ron of Japan.

Very pleasant dining experience! Our waitress with her service robot was sweet and attentive! Unexpected appetizer on the house was a nice surprise! Food was delicious and nicely presented. Not one of our sushi rolls for our party of 7 fell apart!!
