Overall, very good experience. The food is always consistently good. 

First time here. Service was excellent and our waiter (from South Africa) was very attentive and nice. Our food was fantastic (e.g. dumplings, pastrami sandwich, numerous Sushi rolls and 2 desserts; both the carrot cake and donuts). Very fresh, clearly all made from scratch and one beer in particular I had, the Civil Society Fresh IPA (with hints of grapefruit) was one of the best beers I ever had. Nothing but rave reviews for this restaurant, service and food. Keep up the great work and we shall be back.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm smiles of Betjean and Emma, the hostesses, who made me feel instantly welcome. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor set the tone for the entire evening. The manager, Jill, was incredibly attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly and checking in on guests without being intrusive. Her thoughtful approach made the meal even more enjoyable. Our server, Scott, was the perfect combination of charismatic and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and adding a touch of fun to the experience. And the food? Simply outstanding. Every dish was a masterpiece-flavorful, beautifully presented, and a true testament to the chefs' skill. Overall, Kasumi offers not only top-tier cuisine but also exceptional service, thanks to Betjean, Emma, Jill, and Scott. I can't recommend it enough-whether you're a sushi lover or just looking for a great night out, this place will not disappoint!

Chef Yana created the most delicious omakase experience I've ever tasted. Each bite was melt in your mouth deliciousness. The first course was scrumptious and each successive bite was just as mouth watering or better than the previous one. The 18 course omakase transported me back to Japan as the flavors danced in my mouth. I highly recommend sunset sushi for their impeccable service, food, and ambiance.
