On this visit, we were provided a complimentary taste of an umeboshi digestif and a N/A Arnold Palmer-type digestif. That made this visit extra special. - TThomasPhoenix / Arizona •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoBeyond the food being meticulously prepared and exceptional, the service is snappy, attentive and like a concert in motion. So this location is one of the best run restaurants I've had the pleasure to witness. Food was a delicate balance of flavors and you could taste the freshness of every ingredient. Choices were amazing for those afraid to venture into sushi/sashimi. The open atmosphere and wine room are classy and fresh not too stuffy. Chic and yet demure. Your wine suggestions were on the money. The Sancerre amazing. Respect the honest and fair pricing, and your pairing selection were spot on. - SSaniyaMinneapolis - St. Paul •6 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 1, 2024We had dinner on a Sunday night. The location was very convenient with its own parking and a nice outdoor patio area. We ordered miso soup, the Fiesta, Black Monster, and Picasso rolls. It was all really good and had new flavors I had not tried before. Black Monster uses black rice rather tan white sushi rice. Fiesta had a delicious and assertive chili oil which worked well with the other flavors in the roll. And the marinated onion in the Picasso roll was a big improvement on the fried crunchy onions that many other places use. That was plenty of food for two, but after seeing a surprising number of desserts go out to other tables, we ordered a bomba (mango, passion fruit and raspberry sorbetto) to share. That was also very tasty, and I now get why so many people were going for dessert on Sunday night at a sushi place. It was a nice surprise to have a such a nice dinner while on the road and choosing from unfamiliar spots. I would definitely return when I'm back in town.More infoKizuna Sushi BistroPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Glen Ellyn•4.7
