Best Japanese Restaurants in Passaic

My partner and I recently visited Nami Nori for the first time, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy feel. One of the biggest highlights for me was that the entire menu is gluten free, which is such a rare and wonderful find! The food was nothing short of exceptional—each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, well-balanced flavors. The signature temaki (hand rolls) were the perfect combination of crispy nori, perfectly seasoned rice, and high-quality fillings. Every bite was a delight! The service was also outstanding. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations. You can tell they genuinely care about the dining experience and take pride in what they do. Whether you’re gluten-free or not, Nami Nori is an absolute must-visit. We can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu! Highly recommend.

Gyu-Kaku is a must-visit for Japanese BBQ lovers in New York. The quality of the meats is top-notch, the marinades are flavorful, and grilling at your table makes for a fun experience. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and the s’mores dessert is a perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommended!

I can honestly say that the lobster mac and cheese was great. I have tried it in so many different states and countries but this by far is top 5. For anyone going i recommend you try it. Give my best to the Chef
