- DDavidSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe ordered the orange crush roll and the sea spider roll it was a fantastic pairing! The orange crush had the richness of the salmon and cream cheese, a touch of spice with the spicy tuna, and the crunch of the shrimp tempura. The sea spider added a touch of welcoming acidity with the sauce on top of the crunch from the soft shell crab and the spicy crab inside. The best part of dinner was the Chef’s Special 15 piece nigiri. The 5 pieces of toro was a beautiful touch. The quality of the toro was the best I’ve had in San Diego! Would definitely recommend for people trying to get some quality sushi for a good value, would go again!More infoHarney Sushi PowayPrice: Moderate• Sushi• Poway / Rancho Bernardo•4.8
- BBreanneSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoPacific Coast Grill has truly become our favorite restaurant, and we make it a point to celebrate all of our special occasions here. Every time we visit, the food never disappoints, but this time there were a couple of standouts that really made our experience unforgettable. The Cardiff Reef Roll was absolutely incredible, and the Alaskan Halibut was cooked to perfection—so flavorful and tender, it truly exceeded our expectations. Even though Pacific Coast Grill isn't a dedicated sushi spot, their sushi is unbelievable. It's always fresh, flavorful, and crafted with such care. It’s a pleasant surprise every time. We also really enjoyed the Pinot Gris from Willamette, which was the perfect pairing with our meal. The wine selection here always complements the dishes so well. Lastly, the valet service was impeccable. They were kind, professional, and made sure our car was parked right up front, so we didn't have to wait in the rain. It’s little touches like this that make a big difference in the overall experience. We can't wait to come back and continue celebrating more special moments here!More infoPacific Coast Grill - CardiffPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Cardiff By The Sea•4.8
- SSandySan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 8, 2025Restaurant was very busy with only one server on duty. She let us know the situation as soon as we were seated. We were fine because we were from out of town, meeting up with family, and enjoyed being able to spend time catching up while we waited. Food was excellent, fresh, and well prepared. 94 year old mother-in-law enjoyed every bite!More infoSushi Roka Bar & GrillPrice: Moderate• Sushi• Poway / Rancho Bernardo•4.8
- LLeslieSan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 4, 2025This was our first time coming here. We loved the ambiance and decor. Our server was so friendly and took care of us and my husband's 40th birthday with a different type of candle. We were so amazed. We arrived around 530 and it was not as busy as when we were done with dinner. Can't wait to return!More infoKalaveras - EscondidoPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Escondido•4.2
