Best Japanese Speciality Restaurants in Bayside

So so good. Delicious fresh sushi beautifully presented in a lovely space. Cozy and warm with great service. Our waitress Jessi was so sweet and attentive.

I have been here like half a dozen times and every time I always get excited to come back. However this time I felt like something was missing and lacking. They raised the price but everything was still the same. The service was still very good but for some reason I felt like it wasn’t as good and as fun as it used to be. The food didn’t taste as amazing, maybe because they were all the same as before so it didn’t surprise me anymore. I felt a bit rushed for each course, maybe because there were not many people at the dinner. Still, the hosts should have found the way to entertain the guests in order to keep up the reputation of the restaurant. Though I and my party were having good time among ourselves, I just thought that it would have been better if things were different. I also thought that they should change the menu more often to keep regular customers coming back and still be able to have fun.

Exceptional omakase experience. Our 4th trip and so grateful to have this gem in neighborhood and affordable. For now: BYO drinks. There is always something new to try and the chef is masterful in preparing the fish. The rice is key, and we can only name 2 places that have the best rice. (The other place has a Michelin star). We love omakase where the fish is the centerpiece and this place doesn't disappoint.

Exceptional service and the food was amazing. One of the best dining experiences of my life. Thalia was amazing and made the dinner even more special.
