- CCarrieWashington, D.C. Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAnother excellent experience. We had someone in our group that is gluten free. Staff did a great job answering questions and verifying the GF process. Pad see ew was excellent. Skewers were a hit, we had a variety of chicken, shrimp, and pork belly. Great spot at The Wharf before the theater.More infoKaliwaPrice: Moderate• Asian• Southwest Waterfront•3.5
- KKennyVIPWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 17, 2024Amazing experience. Food and service were on another level. After each delicate course, I was left wanting more which is ingenious because now I have to come back again. Darn. Thank you SHIA.More infoSHIA RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Korean• Washington•4.8
- TTammyWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 16, 2024Waited 8 years for this! Totally worth it and nothing else like it here in the States. Lived and worked in UK in early 2000s and would eat here a few times a week! Fresh pressed/squeezed juices...nothing out of a carton here. Amazing flavors in every dish. Our server Bandit knows the menu and will guide you. The Tokyo sweet potato fries have juicy, tender steak. Our guest had the vegan Tokyo fries and said it was the best 'fake meat' dish ever. She (and I stole a bite too) also enjoyed her miso glazed cod over green tea noodles, my 8-yr-old picky eater son is a fan of the chicken gyoza ramen and declared it the best restaurant ever for food, server, decorations and music lol. I enjoyed the panko-breaded vegetarian (sweet potato and eggplant) curry. They have a promo for New Year's...4 plates and 4 drinks for $30 per person (3-6 pm I think; possibly bar only, but still... right?). UK owner/CEO visited restaurant this week and there's thoughts of opening in Reston Town Center, maybe Mosaic, but just some table-side gossip, so need fact-checking. I think they are in NYC already...maybe Houston? Either way, visit soon. You won't regret it and it will soon be part of your regular rotation. We did cheesecake and illy coffee across the street at the Cheesecake Factory for dessert, though I'm sure it would be fabulous at Wagamama's too. Please visit soon so we can keep this UK gem here!More infoWagamama ClarendonPrice: Expensive• Asian• Arlington•4.2
- AAmritWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 23, 2024Had a reservation and got seated quickly, Aalthough short staffed, the waitress took care of us quickly making sure we got water immediately and getting our food order a few minutes later. Advised that some of the fried chicken would take time but these arrived a bit sooner and all was good. Would definitely visit this location again. The food was good for the price point.More infoMomoPrice: Moderate• Korean• Navy Yard•4.5
- TTomVIPNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 28, 2024I thought Mandu was terrific! I have eaten a fair bit of Korean food, including in Seoul, and I thought the food here stood out. Our server was helpful and attentive. I appreciated that the noise level allowed us to have an important conversation comfortably over dinner. As it happened, one of my guests forgot a backpack here. The restaurant staff went to considerable trouble to track me down and assure that he got it back. A nice grace note and consistent with the overall vibe of the place.More infoMandu - K StreetPrice: Moderate• Korean• Mount Vernon Square•4.7
