Best Latin American Restaurants in Arboretum

A complete homerun! La Piscina was recommended by a colleague as one of the best places to get fajitas, which is saying a lot to someone from San Diego. Every single dish was amazing! The Red Snapper Aguachille (like ceviche but better) was so tasty we immediately ordered another! The lobster quesadilla was great, full of hearty lobster meat, not overly cheesy at all. The ribeye “aranchera” fajitas had some of the best flavor we’ve had. Our server Jorge (gorge? sp?) was incredibly helpful! I love when servers really guide you, invested in your experience not just the price of a dish! He steered us in and out of all the perfect dishes. We WILL be repeat offenders!

The entire staff was SO lovely and knowledgeable, and the food was absolutely divine. Huge thanks to Mychael, Kam and Caleb for making our experience so memorable!

Was there for Valentine's dinner. Loved it. Cool tropical vibe with notes of "tiki." We are vegetarian. Good options. I opted for the mac and cheese even though there was bonito. It's an "ask" but I wished for a few more vegetarian options. One feedback item is the wine came out a bit warm. Cocktails were perfect.

What a delicious gem hidden in a South Austin strip mall! Food was absolutely delicious! Prices were more than fair, especially for drinks, happy hour pricing, although we weren’t there for happy hour, was noted as EVEN better! We had a bit of trouble with English language barrier with our server, but got everything we wanted and done correctly, and there were a few pestering flies throughout the meal but overall a truly well done restaurant that is completely deserving of your patronage. We will be back!
