Best Latin American Restaurants in Vinings

I haven’t had a good experience at a restaurant in ATL in a while but that changed last night. I have been eyeing this place for a while now & to put it shortly, i was not disappointed. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The ambiance & aesthetics were lovely. Our serve was great ( tall, brown skin, slim guy) I forgot his name but he was very informative & had great suggestions. For appetizer we had the fried snapper bites 10/10. We made it just in time for happy hour so we had a few delicious cocktails, the blueberry margarita was sweet & strong, the white and red sangria were great also. For entrees we had the tulum oxtail pasta & tulum burger. Both great choices. All in all, date night was a success and we will definitely be back.

Our server was nice but very soft spoken. She seated us and brought us water and the appetizer we ordered. Then she disappeared. We waited 10-15 minutes for her to return so we could order drinks and food. We discovered the staff was having a team meeting and my date had to get up and ask for service. One of the staff members told him “we are in a meeting “. He told her that you can’t be in a meeting when customers are waiting “. The person spoke to the manager and our server came back to table apologizing. Perhaps you can have shorter meetings or allow at least one server to check on seated customers.

We love Mexico Lindo. There is an authenticity with the food, place, staff, music, and overall vibe. The food is excellent and the portions are large. The alcoholic beverages are strong and well made. In a time when most establishments are understaffed, Mexico Lindo typically has a large staff, and even the worse among them works hard. The hosts, bartenders, barbacks, servers, food runners, and those in the kitchen each provide an authentic piece to an overall masterpiece. If you want a more authentic and cultural experience, and enjoy quality food, strong drinks, excellent music, try Mexico Lindo on South Cobb. You'll find working managers in this place, as everybody has a role in the overall success. While each employee brings a distinct personality, each adds to the authenticity of the place. Part of me wants to beat the drum and summon everybody in the Atlanta area to try this establishment, while another part wants to keep it a secret and see nobody I know when visiting this wonderful establishment. The inside is well air-conditioned, and the patios, downstairs and upstairs offer excellent seating options, as do the bars downstairs and upstairs. This is a good place to come on a date, go alone, or a group. Nothing is for everybody, but if you do not love Mexico Lindo, the problem might be you. We love the place!
