Think golden, crunchy perfection paired with creamy indulgence. The black pepper butter cabbage was a revelation—simple, yet so flavourful you’ll wonder why you don’t eat cabbage like this every day. We also went for the Hartgrove coppa—silky, rich, and the perfect nibble to go alongside their expertly crafted margarita. The burrata with roasted pumpkin and pickled red onions balanced earthy, creamy, and tangy notes beautifully. And just when we thought we were done, the fried choux pastry with burnt honey caramel arrived, a dreamy end to a fantastic meal. Service was lovely, as always—attentive but unfussy. Whether you’re popping in for a quick drink (their cocktails are excellent) or settling in for a feast, you’ll leave feeling a little brighter. I like this restaurant a great deal. The ingredients are always fresh and the choice of dishes seasonal. This time, I had an Italian beef stew. My colleague had skate. Both dishes were superb. The bread was as good as ever. I’m very glad that I discovered this place when I started working in Soho.

Very high quality food. We enjoyed the custard dessert the most but also the crab starter the mains such as the sea bass. Nice to have a reasonably priced bottle of house wine though the server didn’t give us what we ordered and we didn’t feel comfortable sending it back. Overall, a very nice meal and we appreciated it very much,
