Very interesting flavour combinations and everything was delicious. The service was very friendly and the wine pairings wonderful.

Medlar is my favourite restaurant in London and is always my first choice for special occasions. My sister and I both had crab raviolo with brown shrimp and bisque to start. She had Cornish cod with mussels to follow (excellent) while I had chargrilled calf's liver with spinach, crispy potato galette and confit onions. The puddings were both delicious (panacotta with strawberries and pistachio cake; rhubarb cheesecake) and we had very good chocolate truffles and passionfruit marshmallows with our coffee. We were made to feel very welcome and the service was excellent throughout.

Great food, lovely staff. On the more expensive side when it comes to a Sunday roast but the quality of the food, the service, and dealing with the team before we arrived was really good, which made it worth it overall.

PJs is an institution, great atmosphere, wonderful variety of food choices and, most importantly, brilliant staff. We are made to feel so welcome at PJs by everyone and it makes such a difference to the evening being greeted by lovely staff that smile and know the menu inside out. We are always open to taking recommendations from the menu and really we haven’t found a fault. Last night, being a Friday, was “beer battered fish and chips”, which was outstanding. Well done to the PJs team for making the place so welcoming and hospitable. We love it.
