    A nice welcome and promptly seated. Lovely server who was friendly and efficient. My friend had the chicken franchesee which looked and tasted delicious. I had the avocado, shrimp, cannellini bean salad with cherry tomatoes. A great combination and a first time for me. Thoroughly recommend and will go back next time I’m in NY. Great value for money we thought.

    Eataly is in a beautiful historic building with lots of vendors selling Italian specialty items and also has restaurants tucked in between. La Pizza and La Pasta is a great casual place that feels authentic. We shared the quattro formaggio pizza (four cheese) with a gorgonzola white sauce which gave it great umami flavor and the pappardelle with mushrooms, which could have used a little more sauce, but still fresh and flavorful. Very reasonable prices for NYC.
