- JJohnWashington, D.C. Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was an excellent experience for the family on Christmas Day. The host Slim was very cordial and spoke English to us. The food was probably the best we’ve had in over a year. Wonderful pairings, meat that almost melted in our mouths it was so tender. I would definitely come back.More infoRestaurant BootshausPrice: Moderate• German• Old Town•4.5
- PPaulWashington, D.C. Area •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 16, 2024If you are looking for a fancy presentation or over-staged dinner, this isn't your place. But if you want an authentic atmosphere and home cooking, this is it. It is not geared for tourists or would-be connoisseurs, this is a German restaurant where Germans enjoy food and company and community. Fun and funny.More infoApfelweinwirtschaft WagnerPrice: Moderate• German• Sachsenhausen-Nord•4.5

- TToyatexDallas - Fort Worth •11 reviews5.0Dined on Mar 31, 2024Our family of five came for Easter. It was a set menu of three courses with a choice of meat, fish, or vegetarian main course. They accommodated our gluten-free request for one of the meals. The food was exquisite, both in taste and presentation. The portions were just right. The service was outstanding, and ambience delightful. The staff was friendly, personable, and professional. What a gorgeous setting in the forest—a tastefully and elegantly decorated dining hall and lovely gardens. If I had to name a small flaw, it would be that the soup was a little too hot. But that was insignificant! It was delicious, as was everything else. We will be back again the next time we visit Wiesbaden.More infoRestaurant Villa im TalPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Mitte•4.8
