The drinks were not watered down or to over done they were perfect. We got the calamari, asparagus, and Brussel sprouts which were all amazing. Then we ordered the 10oz prime, pennette cardinale(my fav) bucatini carbonara, and gnocchi al brivido 10/10More infoSapori TrattoriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Lincoln Park•4.7

- NNickChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoBoka is a true gem in Chicago’s culinary scene, delivering a dining experience that is as polished as it is memorable. My visit to this Michelin-starred restaurant was marked by inventive dishes, artful presentations, and attentive service that made the evening special. We began with the lightly kured kampachi, a delicate starter that balanced freshness with an umami depth. The fish was melt-in-your-mouth tender, complemented beautifully by subtle citrus and herbal accents. It was an excellent introduction to the meal, highlighting Boka’s focus on precision and flavor. Next came the ricotta gnudi, which was nothing short of divine. Each tender bite was a pillowy cloud of ricotta perfection, surrounded by a light, flavorful sauce that brought everything together. The dish managed to feel both decadent and restrained, showcasing a mastery of balance. The star of the meal, however, was undoubtedly the whole duck. Presented with flair and carved tableside, it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The duck was cooked to perfection—crispy, golden skin encased tender, flavorful meat that paired wonderfully with its accompaniments. It’s clear this dish is a signature for a reason, and it delivered on every promise. The atmosphere at Boka is sophisticated yet welcoming, with warm lighting and chic décor that sets the tone for an upscale yet unpretentious dining experience. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience with excellent recommendations and thoughtful touches throughout the evening. In summary, Boka lives up to its reputation, offering a well-rounded experience that blends culinary artistry wi th impeccable service. The whole duck alone is worth a return visit, and I’m eager to explore more of what the menu has to offer. Highly recommended for a special occasion or a night to indulge in one of Chicago’s finest dining spots.More infoBokaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Lincoln Park•4.8

- SStevenChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had a lovely, memorable evening at Mon Ami Gabi! It had been many years since my last dining experience at this restaurant, and I found the experience even better than I remembered. The ambiance was warm and cozy, the food uniformly excellent (we particularly enjoyed the French Onion Soup, deviled eggs, filet mignon au poivre, and trout), and our server, Eric, was exceptionally warm, gracious, and knowledgeable. Already looking forward to my next dinner at this Lincoln Park gem!More infoMon Ami GabiPrice: Moderate• French• Lincoln Park•4.8
